Registrant must provide pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and hair pinned up securely. Dates: Sat., 1/23-3/20 (ex. 2/20) 10:30-11:00 AM (8 classes) $56 Code: 115854-A Classical Ballet - Beginner Ages: 6-8 years Content: This class introduces students to the Vaganova/Russian Method of classical ballet techniques with an emphasis on barre work and basic ballet steps. Registrant must provide light blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and hair pinned up securely. NO SKIRTS! No experience necessary. Instruction in this class is at an advanced level and features longer and more complex combinations. Registrant must provide black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and hair pinned up securely. Class must be taken in conjunction with "Classical Ballet - Advanced". Pointe may be taken with permission from the instructor. Dancers and actors will audition for, be cast in and rehearse for a production that will be performed in late February or early March. Informational meeting will be held on 1/15 from 6:00-6:15pm with auditions for participants to follow from 6:15-6:45pm. No Experience Necessary. Costumes will be provided.
