Faculty        
Margaret Carlston is the owner and Artistic Director of M. C. Classical Productions.  Mrs.
Carlston was born in Rochester, New York and is a graduate
and faculty member of the
Orcutt/Botsford School of Dance, and affiliate training school of The American Ballet
Theater.  
She was also faculty member and director of the Fisher/Botsford School of
Dance as well as Adjunct Professor for St. John Fisher College.  
Her principal teachers
were Luba Gulyava, former soloist with the world renowned Kirov Ballet and Jurgen
Schneider, former ballet coach of the American Ballet Theater.  Mrs. Carlston has taken
master classes with Mikhail Baryshnikov.  Other teachers include Yehuda Maor, Denise
Warner Limoli, Fernando Bujones and Miguel Lopez.  She has also trained with the Fort
Worth Ballet and with the San Francisco School of Ballet.  At Orcutt/Botsford, she was part
of the original cast of Peter and the Wolf.  She also danced a variety of roles in The
Nutcracker, Giselle, Les Sylphides, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and Four Seasons.  Mrs.
Carlston has taught classical ballet to both children and adults as well as directed, staged
and choreographed a number of productions.  Some of her students have studied at the
San Francisco School of Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet,
New York State Summer School of the Arts, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Ballet Regents,
Nazareth Summer School of the Arts, Geva Theater Summer Program, as well as have
been accepted to dance programs at Mercyhurst, S.U.N.Y.  Brockport and Wells Colleges.  
Her students have also danced in performances with the Moscow Ballet, Rochester City
Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater, Geva Theater Productions, Monroe County Fair,
New York State Fair as well as various school and community productions.
Miriam Lerner has worked with M. C. Classical Productions since 2006, and has been
dancing since she was three years old. She has studied ballet at Orcutt/Botsford School
of Dance, Draper Center for Dance Education, and Mercyhurst College, as well as at the
Ballet Regent and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet summer programs. She has
performed with North Carolina Dance Theatre and Rochester City Ballet. Miriam is a
current nurse
at Strong Memorial Hospital.
